1960 Rickenbacker 450 series Stephen Arthur spotted this rare 1960 Rickenbacker hanging on the wall of a pawnshop in the early months of 1979. While the owner of the shop didn't recognize this gem for what it was, Stephen certainly did, and just a few twenty-dollar installments later, Stephen took it home.
	Left, Stephen's Rickenbacker as it appears today. Stephen painted the instrument black in the early 1980's, but is considering stripping the paint to return it to its natural wood.
